Fransvliet Estate – Self-Catering Units

  • Stay is inclusive of daily housekeeping.
  • We are situated in a water scarce area. Hence, linen & towels will only be changed every 3rd day of your stay.
  • A R2 000 deposit against breakages and/or damages will be required a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival which will be refunded within 5 days after check-out.
  • No outside guests are allowed at the farmhouse and property without prior permission.
  • Dogs and other pets not allowed as we have several resident pets at Fransvliet Estate.

Fransvliet Estate – Manor House

  • Stay is inclusive of daily housekeeping.
  • We are situated in a water scarce area. Hence, linen & towels will only be changed every 3rd day of your stay.
  • A R10 000 deposit against breakages and/or damages will be required a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival which will be refunded within 5 days after check-out.
  • No outside guests are allowed at the farmhouse and property without prior permission.
  • Lunches, dinners, parties and events with more than 14 participants including house guests are not permitted. Events need to be pre-arranged and if approved would incur an event fee.
  • Dogs and other pets not allowed as we have several resident pets at Fransvliet Estate.

Minimum Stays – Check-In & Check-Out

  • 2-Night minimum stay.
  • 4-Night minimum stay during Peak Season.
  • Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 10:00. If you are arriving before 14:00 or leaving after 10:00, baggage can be held by prior arrangement; however at full risk to the guest.

Liability

  • Unreasonable damages and/or breakages will be charged.
  • Whilst every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our guest and their possessions on these premises, the owners and management of Fransvliet Estate will not be held responsible for any injury, damage or loss sustained by whatever cause.

Bookings & Payments

  • Bookings are only confirmed once a 50% deposit has been received and a confirmation receipt
    has been issued.
  • Final balance to be paid 14 days prior to arrival.
  • All amounts paid should reflect the full invoice amount with no deduction for bank fees.
  • All stays booked within 14 days of arrival need to be paid in full.
  • If payments are not made on time, bookings will be cancelled and will be subject to cancellation charges.

Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in.
  • No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
  • There will be no refund for no shows.
  • All travellers are advised to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance. This insurance must be able to fully cover cancellation of travel less than 14 days prior to arrival.
